The Resource Centre is a multi-purpose room used for formal and informal meetings, lectures and educational activities. It provides seating for 60 people, and has a large screen, projection equipment and 40 inch TV.
Research material on the Museum Collection, as well as Weymouth and the surrounding area, is available for viewing on three dedicated computers. Some of the currently available topics are:

There is also a microfilm reader/printer which facilitates access to a microfilm record totalling 38,000 frames featuring much of the Borough Archive.
The Resource Centre is the regular venue for programmes of Spring and Autumn Teas and Talks. These popular events cover a wide range of topics relating Weymouth and the surrounding area. The programme may be viewed on the Future Events page.
