Weymouth Museum’s ‘Teas and Talks’ return for the autumn, and we are delighted to welcome Rachel Knowles to talk about ‘ It happened at the seaside – Inspired by Regency Weymouth’.

Rachel will talk about:
Weymouth was the most fashionable seaside resort in the Georgian era, thanks to the visits of George III. In this talk, Rachel Knowles shares how the history of Georgian and Regency Weymouth has impacted her romance novels. She explains about her research, her approach to combining fact and fiction, and how living by the seaside continues to inspire her storytelling.

About Rachel:
Rachel Knowles loves happy endings, Jane Austen and all things Regency. She writes faith-based Regency romance, rich in historical detail, and shares her research on her blog, RegencyHistory.net, which she runs with her husband, Andrew. They regularly give talks on the Regency period based on their extensive research.
