A FINE DISPLAY OF WAREHOUSES

Fronting Commercial Road and Lower St Edmund Street prior to the construction of the Town Bridge in 1928/30 is a fine row of warehouses, a reminder of Weymouth’s history as a trading port.

Only the two on the left survive today, tastefully converted for residential use.

An interesting looking vessel is moored alongside.

Weymouth Museum has been supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

We have also benefitted from the active support of The Friends of Weymouth Museum.
