What a scene of congestion in Gloucester Mews!
This view dates from the 1930s and shows a large number of motor coaches and cars crammed into a fairly small space, Drivers should have great fun in extricating their vehicles to wend their way home.
Judging by the vehicles this view dates from the mid 1930s. In the background is a view of the rear of Channon’s premises. This was a firm which also operated in Dorchester and were the main Morris agents. Their Weymouth site had a most prestigious position on the Esplanade just west of the Royal Hotel.
