A reminder of time Weymouth Harbour was a working port with no less than five Sealink vessels moored there.
The scene created a great deal of interest. The vessels were Sarnia. Caesarea, Earl Godwin, Maid of Kent and Caledonian PrIncess.
Indeed, the scene caused the owner of a property in Trinity Road (who really should have known better) to complain that the presence of such a large number of vessels at one time had led to a rise in the seal level and caused flooding to his property!
