Much has been written about the Tudor House 4 North Quay, shamefully demolished in 1961. Pictures of the exterior have been published many times over the years, but what is rarer are views of the interior.
These show one of the rooms and the banisters in a very poor state of repair. Fortunately the banisters were salvaged by Eric Ricketts, to whom residents of Weymouth owe so much, and form the communion rail in St Ann’s Church Radipole.
